Justin Lloyd Wins Another At Concord
Justin
Lloyd wins another race at Concord Motorsports Park.
Concord, N.C. - April 20th, 2008
The
final race of the evening at Concord Motorsports Park involved
two races on the track. The first involved the battle
for the top spot between Chad Hackenbracht and Justin Lloyd
while the other was between Devin Jones and Ronnie Bassett for
the third position. When the smoke cleared it was Lloyd
in victory lane as the winner and the other three drivers left
to wonder what could have been.
Hackenbracht
seemed to have the dominate car, but late in the race Lloyd
put the pressure on and took the top spot on the way to the
victory.
“The
#07 car (Hackenbracht) was definitely the car to beat,” said
Lloyd. “We didn’t have the car to win on long runs.
Chad is an awesome driver. He gave me enough room on
that last restart and I was fortunate enough to come out on
top.”
